Hodge Podge Wednesday

1. What gives you goosebumps?

I am assuming we are talking scary goosebumps and not just cold. Cause a cold wind can give me goosebumps. But Ok in the spirit of Halloween, I do not like the dark. You know those first few minutes in the dark when you can see nothing but you just know you heard something. You can't see it but you know it is there...that gives me goosebumps!

2. Halloween-are you a lover or a hater? Okay, that sounds harsh...Halloween-yay or nay

I am honestly not into Halloween. Not for any specific reason at all. But I honestly do not really like the lights, and elaborate decorations. It seems to me each year it gets more and more elaborate and we celebrate evil creatures like vampires, witches and such as we take Christ out of Christmas. just my opinion...

3. Can you respect someone you do not trust, and can you trust someone you do not respect?

Wow the questions are really making me think this week. This question reminds me of a specific person whom I will not name. But I respect her as a person but do not trust her at all. Trust is hard thing I think I have to respect someone to trust them but i can respect someone I do not trust.

4. Apples or oranges? Yes, you have to choose.

Apples for me! I love them love to eat them, smell of them and the very many kinds of them. There can be an apple for whatever mood you are in granny smith to red delicious.

5. What is something you wish was in your town? (shop, restaurant, attraction, etc)

A movie theater. My husband and I go to movies all the time its our date night, or just something to do on a boring day. The closest theater is 40 minutes a way.

6. What non-food item is in your refrigerator or freezer?

I had to go look and I do not have any non-food items in my freezer at this time. I do have medication in my refrigerator.

7. Are you at all superstitious?

I'd like to say no considering the answer to the Halloween yay or nay question but I struggle with this one. My grandmother was an old school Italian woman. She kind of embedded these things in my head. I never put new shoes on the table, when I a bird flies and hits my car or into my house or quite frankly any where around me I know someone is going to die (I know that sounds crazy but it actually happened to me several times.) there are a few other weird things that have been inserted into my conscience over the years. I say I do not believe in superstition but I still do the crazy things like throw salt over my left shoulder if it falls on the floor.

8. Insert your own random thought here.

I became an Aunt again last week. My brother and his girl friend had a baby girl. Her name is Nicole Rose, she was 6lbs 7oz. I watched older brother over the weekend. We stayed in a hotel and had a baycation according to Tyler.

Awwwwwwwwww, the new arrival in your family is so precious. And the photo you shared?----priceless.

A theater 40 minutes away? That would be something I'd wish for also, as I love movies. I think if it were that way here, and the cost of gas to go that far for a couple of hours...well, I'd much rather rent movies, pop some popcorn and make a 'date night'....at home! LOL

Congrats on becoming an aunt. Good to see others aren't so keen on Halloween either.
