Its Hodge Podge Wednesday!!!!

1. It is officially fall here in North America...I realize not everyone who participates in the Hodgepodge lives in North America but if you do, what's your favorite memory of Summer 2011? If you're not in North America, what's your favorite memory of the season just ending on your side of the world?

My favorite memory is the last time I saw my Nana. She was so excited to see me and I had brought our dog over to see her. We went outside to the dog and had a wonderful visit. I loved and will always remember the look on her face when she saw me that day.

2. Your favorite nut? You know I mean the edible kind, right?

I love all kinds of nuts almonds, pistachios, walnuts.....I love them all!

3. What activity puts your sense of balance to the test?

Umm my sense of balance is always at a test. I am one of those clumsy people who could trip over their own feet. Lately my new work shoes have been tripping me up. I guess I shuffle when I walk. So the crocks stick to the floor. Haven't fallen yet but.....

4.How do you describe your sense of humor?

I never really thought about this.....I guess I have a dry sense of humor with a little quick with thrown in there every once in a while.

5. September 28 is National stupid question day. What's your stupid question?

I honestly sat here for a few minutes trying to think of a stupid question and could not but I am sure I will have one today....I always tell my patients no question is stupid if you do not know.

6. Roller skates, hula hoop, jump rope which activity do you like and yes you have to choose.

I love roller skating, although I am not very good at it...See question 3

7. What's your most favorite sentimental possession.

years before my grandmother died she ask me what I would want if she died. I told her I would want her sewing machine. It is a turn of the century Singer sewing machine, with a wooden cabinet and wheel to make the spindle go. I have so many memories of her sitting at that sewing machine mending our clothes or just sewing something. I told her this then and she made my mom clean it out that day so I could take it home with me...

Insert random thought here.

Some one went to look at our house in SC. I am praying that they loved it and will make an offer soon. That way we can make an offer on a house we like here....I'll keep ya posted...Prayers appreciated! Thanks
